Bainbridge Island Ferry Engagement Session
I met A + M on board the Seattle to Bainbridge Island Ferry for their engagement photos.
The weather was perfect, with streaks of clouds creating texture in the vast blue sky. Mount Tahoma kept peeking her head out every now and then, the ocean air threw salt at our senses, and the breeze of Puget Sound gave a gentle foreshadowing of the winter soon to come.
Once we met up and the ferry departed, we went straight out to the deck to begin our photo adventure. Luckily, there weren’t that many folks heading to the island that particular trip, so we were offered some sweeping views of Seattle unobstructed by cars while we sailed out into the water.
A short half hour later, we were at our destination - Bainbridge Island. We stopped for coffee at one of my favorite spots, Pegasus Coffeehouse, before heading to The Grand Forest. A very popular walking trail for locals, The Grand Forest is a 240 acre green space packed with lush old-growth cedars, firs, ferns, and maples.
A + M quickly relaxed among the smell of the moss and fallen leaves, and their engagement photos went off without a hitch!
