Well, it all starts somewhere, doesn’t it?

I met Alex and Zach through a Seattle Queers Facebook group. Being new to the Pacific Northwest, I was (and continue to be) very eager to meet new friends, new clients, and to hear new stories. After meeting with them at a local Victrola Coffee, I think we all knew that we would be a good fit for each other.

We made plans for a Snoqualmie Falls engagement session, but truly the conversation kept going. I could see the excitement in their faces as they told me about all of the beautiful landscapes that Washington state has to offer. I decided that since these two cutie cats wouldn’t really be getting the full “Swatz Experience” because of our quick turn-around time, I would throw in another mini session at our ‘almost’ location, Golden Gardens.

The park leaves no mystery for how it got its name, that is for certain. We had a beautiful golden hour, and I got to see first-hand why these photos were sure to be magic. Zach and Alex share a love that is quirky, fun, romantic, supportive and magnetic. Whenever instruction came to just “be together”, nothing else needed to be said. The rest of the world would simply fade away, and I knew I was in the presence of love.
