Land Acknowledgment

Living and creating in the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, the Duwamish, Suquamish, and Stillaguamish tribes, I recognize and honor their enduring connection to this land.

Originally coming from the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe, Potawatomi, and Wyandot nations now known as Michigan, it is my goal to carry continued awareness of the original stewards of these lands since time immemorial, and to inspire others to carry the same reverence for the pathways they walk.

As an outdoor adventure and nature photographer, I embrace my responsibility to foster a respectful and nurturing relationship with the Land and all of our relatives who inhabit it. I pledge to utilize my photography as a tool to inspire others to cultivate reverence and stewardship for the lands we inhabit, recognizing that we are all interconnected and share in the responsibility to protect and honor this sacred Earth.

May we walk gently upon this land, guided by the wisdom of Indigenous ancestors, and committed to the preservation of its beauty and diversity for generations to come.
